Tawana Edwards Maggard, JD Administrative Principal and Chief Fiduciary Officer
Tawana Edwards has more than 25 years of experience and expertise in personal trust and estate planning and administration. She is an honors graduate of the University of Louisville and received her juris doctorate from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law and was honored as an Outstanding Law Alumnae in 1999.
She is a past chair for the Probate Section of both the Kentucky and Louisville Bar Associations. She also chaired the legislative committee of the Kentucky Bar Association’s Probate Section. Currently, she is a member of the Louisville Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association and the American Bar Association’s Real Property and Probate Section. She is a past President of the Estate Planning Council of Louisville and maintains a current membership in that organization. She is a frequent speaker at trust and estate related continuing legal education seminars and has published articles on trust administration related topics.
Prior to joining The Glenview Trust Company, Tawana was senior vice president and managing director of PNC Bank’s personal trust and investment advisory division in Kentucky and earlier, she managed their employee benefits group. Prior to this she was with a large regional law firm concentrating in the areas of trust administration, probate and estate planning.
Tawana is active in community leadership and currently serves on the Board of Women4Women, Inc.
