J. David Grissom
Founder and Chairman of the Board

Mr. Grissom began his career practicing law, and later became a partner in the firm of Greenbaum Grissom Doll Matthews & Boone. From 1969 to 1973 he served as executive vice president of Humana, Inc. From 1973 to 1989, he held various senior positions, including chairman and CEO of Citizens Fidelity Bank & Trust and vice chairman of its successor, PNC Financial Corp.
He is now chairman of Mayfair Capital, a private investment firm. He is chairman of the executive committee of Churchill Downs, Inc., and he serves on the board of YUM! Brands, Inc. and several other privately held companies. He is a former director of Columbia/HCA Healthcare Corp., Regal Cinemas, Transco Energy, Inc. and Sphere Drake Holding, LTD.

Mr. Grissom is a graduate of Centre College and the University of Louisville Law School. He served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Centre College for more than 20 years and continues to serve as a Life Trustee.
