Administrative Principal

Sherry has over 25 years of specialized experience in the trust business including specific working knowledge of estate taxation, estate planning and trust administration. At Glenview Trust she concentrates her efforts in the personal trust administration and estate planning areas.

Having completed her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Kentucky Wesleyan College, she continued her education at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, receiving her Juris Doctorate in 1986. Later that same year, she joined Citizens Fidelity Bank and Trust Company to work in their trust department’s estate and inheritance tax area, and was admitted to the Kentucky and Federal Bar.

At Citizens Fidelity, which became PNC Bank, she was Vice President and Manager of the Trust Tax Department and became a recognized expert in the Kentucky Inheritance Taxation field. She moved from the Tax area to PNC’s Estate Planning Consultant position where she assisted trust clients in formulating a distributive plan for their estates. Before joining Glenview, Sherry served PNC as a Director and Trust Administrator, where she was responsible for managing trust professionals and a portfolio of high net worth individuals.

Professionally, she is a member of the Louisville Bar Association, Probate and Trust Law Section, the Kentucky Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Louisville Estate Planning Council. She has been a featured speaker at various legal education functions and has published work in the area of Kentucky Inheritance Taxation.

Sherry currently serves on the boards of Akasha Project and the Kentucky Wesleyan College Alumni association.
