Staff Biographies – Armstrong

Cindy has over 25 years of specialized experience in the trust and financial industry including specific working knowledge of estate taxation, estate planning and trust administration. At Glenview Trust she concentrates her efforts in the personal trust administration and estate planning areas.

Having completed her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bellarmine University, she continued her education at the University Of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, receiving her Juris Doctorate in 1987. She received her CPA designation in 1988.

Before joining Glenview, Cindy served as a senior Wealth Advisor for a regional financial institution. Her experience includes previous management of Trust Tax, and Estate and Probate Departments as well as responsibility for a portfolio of personal trust relationships. While at Big Four public accounting firms she concentrated in areas of individual, trust and estate taxation. She was an adjunct professor at Bellarmine University.

Professionally, she is a member of the Louisville Bar Association Probate Section, the Kentucky Bar Association, the Louisville Estate Planning Council, the Southern Indiana Planning Council, the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Women’s Lawyer’s Association.

Cindy currently serves on the board of the Hanover College Parent Board.
