Christopher H. Young

Board Member

Christopher H. Young is the Executive Vice President of W.T. Young, LLC, a Lexington-based, diversified company specializing in warehousing and real estate development and management. The firm also manages Overbrook Farm, which now offers barn and stable leasing opportunities after serving for years as a prominent thoroughbred breeding and racing operation.

Young is the founder and former CEO of Sawyer Media Systems and brings a broad range of entrepreneurial and executive experience to the Glenview Trust Company Board of Directors. He is actively engaged in numerous community and philanthropic efforts. He currently serves as Chairman of the Transylvania University Board of Trustees and also chairs the Bingham Board of Trust, which supports teaching excellence at Transylvania. In addition, he is Chair of the Bluegrass Angels, a group of business leaders that invests in and mentors innovative Kentucky startups. Young also serves on the boards of the University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Foundation, the Lexington Opera House Fund, and The Lexington School.

Young earned his Bachelor of Science with dual degrees in Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from Duke University. He and his wife, Josefine, live in Lexington with their three children.
