Austin Musselman is the managing member of White Oak Investments LLC, a private holding company and a family office that manages its business and investment interests in Kentucky, Indiana, Florida, and Wyoming. The White Oak team developed Haymarket, which is a retail chain of stores with an emphasis on locally-sourced products. White Oak Investments owns and manages real estate, mainly consisting of working farmland, commercial and multi-family properties, which includes several operating businesses in the Kentucky region.
Mr. Musselman is the owner and manager of Ashbourne Farms, a 2,250-acre third-generation working farm in La Grange, Kentucky, that has been completely restored as a luxury event and outdoor sporting destination.
Mr. Musselman has served on the Brown-Forman/Brown Family Shareholders Committee and the Brown-Forman Major Gifts Committee. In addition, he has been an active volunteer of several non-profit organizations, including Chair of the Kentucky Chapter of the Nature Conservancy, President of Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest, Vice Chair of the Bluegrass Land Conservancy, and the President’s Council of American Farmland Trust. He also served as a Director of the Mockingbird Valley Preservation Association, Kentucky Educational Television Louisville Regional Board, The Sportsmen’s Alliance Board of Directors, Kentucky Country Day, and the Billfish Foundation. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Glenview Trust Company and Wolf Pen Branch LLC.
