Dave Draper, a Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Public Accountant, has over 35 years of investment, financial and accounting experience. He began his career with Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young) in 1982, where he supervised or provided services on various audit and tax engagements. He then obtained his MBA degree with a concentration in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining Glenview Trust Company, Dave worked for Brown-Forman Corporation, an S&P 500 company, where he became a vice president and gained substantial experience in the Corporate Development area, providing valuations and recommendations on numerous acquisition candidates and other investment alternatives. He also directed the finance department of one of this company’s operating divisions. Dave’s other education includes a BS degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky. He also served as an accounting instructor at both the Wharton School and the University of Louisville. Dave is a member of the CFA Society of Louisville and the Kentucky State Board of Accountancy.
