Suzanne brings nearly fifteen years of legal experience in Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration. At Glenview Trust she utilizes this experience to assist families with the administration of wealth transfer plans that minimize taxes and preserve the family legacy.
Suzanne earned her Juris Doctorate in 2005 from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law. In 2003 she completed a course of study in International Litigation in Rome, Italy. Following graduation, she returned to Temple to complete her Estate Planning Certification through Temple Law School’s LLM in Taxation program in 2007.
In 2007 Suzanne relocated to Kentucky. Suzanne was a founding member, and the managing partner of the Estate Planning Practice Group, of Embry Merritt Shaffar Womack, PLLC in Lexington. Suzanne has been recognized by several peer reviewed publications as a leader in the field of Estate Planning and Probate law.
Professionally she is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association Probate and Trust Law Section, Pennsylvania Bar Association, the American Bar Association, ABA Section of Real Property, Trust, and Estate Law, and the Bluegrass Estate Planning Council. She is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals, 6th Circuit, Eastern District of Kentucky, Western District of Kentucky, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, District of New Jersey, Commonwealth of Kentucky, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
Suzanne is a current Board Member of the Blue Grass Community Foundation. She is a former Board Member of Bluegrass Youth Ballet, High Street YMCA of Central Kentucky, Kentucky Board of Long-Term Care Administrators, and the Kentucky Institute for Aging.
